How much does shipping cost?

We offer FREE domestic shipping in the US for any Oomiay purchase over $50+! For orders under $50 we offer a discounted $3.99 shipping fee. International countries will be charged accordingly during check out.

How long does it take to get my order?

US orders are usually delivered within 3-6 business days (unless noted otherwise or if expedited 2-day shipping is selected). International orders may take 7-14 business days depending on the country and its customs.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship internationally. International orders typically arrive within 7-14 business days depending on destination and customs. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on country. Please note local customs duties and taxes may apply and are the customer's responsibility. International orders are eligible for store credit returns within 30 days through our exchanges & returns portal (refunds aren't offered on international orders at this time).

How do pre-orders work?

Pre-orders let you reserve a piece before it's officially in stock. We open pre-orders for new launches and restocks where inventory is on its way to us. You're charged at checkout to lock in your piece, and we ship it out as soon as it arrives and clears our quality check. Each pre-order product page shows the expected ship-out date so you know what to expect. If you change your mind before the piece ships, just email us at [email protected] with your order number.

When will my pre-order ship?

The expected ship-out date is listed on each pre-order product page. We always aim to buffer extra time so we hit that date, but pre-order timelines aren't guaranteed since they depend on production and inbound shipping. If the date shifts for any reason, we'll send you an email update. Your tracking info will go out as soon as the piece ships.

What if my order has both pre-order and in-stock items?

By default, we hold your order and ship it together once the pre-order item is ready. This cuts packaging waste and shipping emissions compared to splitting into multiple boxes 🌱 If you'd rather have your in-stock items ship right away with the pre-order to follow, just email us at [email protected] with your order number and we'll split the order for you.

Can I return my product?

Yep! Just use our hassle-free return portal here within 30 days of your delivery date. Your item(s) must be unused, with tags and in the same condition that you received it. Please note a $5 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

What about exchanges?

We offer free size or style exchanges within 30 days of your delivery date! Please access our easy exchange portal here.

Do holiday gifts get extra time?

Yes! Holiday orders placed November 1 to December 25, 2026 can be exchanged or returned until January 24, 2027, or within 30 days of delivery if that's later.

What is Heavy Gold+?

Heavy Gold+ is our premium plating process for rings using 2.5 microns of 18k gold over a silver barrier layer (a step most brands skip that blocks tarnishing at the source), topped with an advanced sealing protection. That's 5X thicker than the industry standard for gold plating. Designed to stay beautiful for years and backed by our 2-year warranty.

What is Black Gold?

Black Gold is created using black rhodium plating (rhodium is from the platinum family) over the same multi-layer construction we use for Heavy Gold+, resulting in our distinctive smoky-dark finish. Available across rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

What's the difference between Heavy Gold+, Sterling Silver, and Black Gold?

All three are designed for everyday wear, just in different finishes. Heavy Gold+ is our 18K gold ring construction: 2.5 microns of real 18K gold over a silver barrier, topped with an advanced sealing protection (5X the industry standard). Our Sterling Silver pieces are genuine .925 sterling silver plated with rhodium from the platinum family for a brilliant, long-lasting finish. What metals do you use?

Our 18K gold and Black Gold rings use a hypoallergenic brass base (no nickel) with a real silver barrier layer, plated to 2.5 microns and finished with an advanced sealing protection. Our Sterling Silver pieces are genuine .925 sterling silver with rhodium plating from the platinum family.

Our necklaces, bracelets, and earrings use quality plating with e-coating protection on the body, with stainless steel earring posts for hypoallergenic safety. All pieces feature hand-set crystals.

What are Oomiay Crystals?

Our crystals are premium 5A grade cubic zirconia and brilliant cut crystal glass for our signature colors, all hand-set by skilled artisans for the most light return and detail.

Will my ring tarnish or turn my fingers green?

Nope! Our Heavy Gold+ rings have a silver barrier layer engineered to prevent both. Green skin happens when copper in cheaper plated jewelry reacts with more acidic skin oils, and our silver barrier blocks that reaction during normal wear. While all non-solid jewelry can eventually fade over time, our plating is 5X thicker with an additional protective coating, and customers typically enjoy 2-4+ years before slight fading occurs. The key is proper jewelry care — removing before swimming, showering, and storing properly extends life significantly. If your skin runs more acidic and you've reacted to plated jewelry before, our .925 Sterling Silver pieces are the best choice. Sterling is solid silver all the way through: 92.5% pure silver with a small amount of copper mixed in for strength (that’s what the .925 means, and it’s true of all sterling silver). Ours is finished with rhodium, with no base metal underneath to wear through to.

Is it waterproof?

Our jewelry is water-resistant, not waterproof 😊 It is designed to handle everyday life — caught in rain, quick hand washes, occasional splashes — totally fine! However, we recommend removing pieces for swimming, showering, applying perfume, and extended water exposure to maximize lifespan.

Why can't you make waterproof jewelry?

Great question! Brands claiming "waterproof" typically use stainless steel — it's too stiff to bend for intricate designs or detailed stone settings, and the gold-tone PVD coatings they use aren't real gold (typically 0.03-0.08 microns of gold-colored compound). Our Heavy Gold+ uses real 18K gold at 2.5 microns, which lets us create the playful, detailed pieces you love while still being water-resistant for everyday wear.

What size ring should I order?

Our rings are available in sizes 4 through 11. The most accurate way to find your size is to measure a ring you already wear comfortably or get sized at a local jeweler. How do I file a warranty claim?
